MCCI has been working with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities for over 50 years.
As a regional peak body, MCCI consults and informs members and communities, makes policy contributions and submissions to government, and participates in research projects, committees, and networks to influence national policy.


Partners in Culturally Appropriate Care
Partners in Culturally Appropriate Care (PICAC) program improves the capacity of the aged care sector to be response and inclusive to the diverse needs of older people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. PICAC is a nationally funded initiative in each state and territory. MCCI is funded by the Australian Government to deliver on the PICAC program across NSW and ACT.
Sector Support and Development
Sector Support and Development is funded by the Australian Government, as part of the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), to strengthen the capacity of home support services to be able to meet the diverse needs of their clients as part of the broader aged care system.
