You ring, we deliver – delicious frozen meals to your home in the Illawarra.
The MCCI Meals on Wheels Service provides a selection of nutritious frozen meals for people who have difficulty with shopping or cooking for themselves.
The service is provided to older people, people with a disability, people recovering from surgery and of course carers. The service is not means tested, is based on need and there are no waiting lists!
The menu is designed to cater for people with special dietary requirements with a selection of over 60 meals including; Mediterranean, Baltic, Eastern European and Asian cuisines. Pureed meals are also available.
How do I get started?
Anyone can refer a client to Meals on Wheels (including self- referrals). There are no waiting lists, and no contracts. Simply give us a call during office hours on 4229 7566, or complete the Enquire Now form.
Our coordinator will then be in contact to discuss any special requirements and delivery of meals. They can also help with a referral to My Aged Care if that is appropriate.
Where do you deliver?
The service currently delivers between Helensburgh and Kiama.
When do you deliver?
Tuesdays: Wollongong area and northern suburbs to Helensburgh
Wednesdays: South of Wollongong.
You can also pick up your meals from our office at 117 Corrimal Street, Wollongong.

You can order by completing the online form available here, or by calling our office between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
How much are meals?
Soups and Desserts- $3 each
Main Meal- $7
How do I pay for my meals?
Meals can be paid for in cash directly to our volunteer, by cash or cheque at our office, online by credit card by clicking here or by direct bank transfer.
Can you just leave my meal somewhere if I am not going to be home?
MCCI must ensure that the meal is delivered safely and within health regulation time frames. Meals on Wheels "More than just a meal" motto also has our deliverers ensuring that you are alright through a personal contact.
