Finance Assistant (Maternity Leave Contract)

The Multicultural Communities Council of Illawarra (MCCI) has been supporting multicultural communities in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven for over 40 years and we now have an opportunity for an experienced finance assistant to join our the team to cover maternity leave.

This integral role supports the Finance Manager 3 days a week carrying out a range of finance administration tasks including payroll administration, accounts receivable, banking and reconciliations.

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Minimum two years demonstrated experience in finance administration
  • Relevant qualifications
  • Excellent IT skills including MYOB, CRM Systems, Excel and Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines
  • Strong customer service orientation with a proactive and helpful approach
