Client Support Officer - Help at Home

The Multicultural Communities Council of Illawarra (MCCI) has been supporting communities in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven for over 40 years. Its diverse and talented team has been driving organisational growth and we now have an opportunity for an experienced Client Support Officer to join our Care Services team.

This is a pivotal role in the Care Services team that will provide a range of administrative support duties to the Care Coordinator (Help at Home) and Care Services Team to ensure that aged care services to multicultural seniors are efficiently planned, implemented, and monitored.

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Demonstrated experience in providing high quality administrative and client support in a front-line human services context
  • Demonstrated experience in working with client databases
  • Capacity and willingness to work in a high volume, fast paced, and multidisciplinary service environment
  • Detailed knowledge of the aged care system in Australia, as well as the Australian Home Care Standards, will be highly regarded but is not essential
  • Unrestricted motor vehicle licence and own motor vehicle
  • An understanding of the issues facing Australians from culturally & linguistically diverse backgrounds will be highly regarded
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (minimum Diploma) or substantial experience in similar roles
