The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) is part of our Multicultural Friendship Program which connects volunteers with older people who live at home or at residential facilities and would appreciate an extra visitor.  

“Everybody needs company and when you find company where you’re happy that’s a point extra,” said Brigitte Oppitz who met school teacher Annabel Ecroyd through the program.

The friendship program connects generations of people from different cultures. If you would like to volunteer, click here. An hour per fortnight is all that is required.
