You will be responsible for providing individual and small-group exercise and wellbeing programs, this pivotal role will work with our multidisciplinary team of community aged care professionals to support older people to:

  • plan and achieve their goals
  • decrease the risk of falls
  • increase strength and mobility
  • improve their understanding of health and wellbeing
  • manage chronic health conditions

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • current accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist with ESSA
  • a passion for working with people over 65 from diverse backgrounds
  • experience working with client management systems
  • experience in working with minimal supervision with agreed objectives

 The Role

Team Leader – Refugee Services will be responsible for leading a team of staff and volunteers who deliver a varied, high quality program of services for communities from refugee and culturally & linguistically diverse (CALD) background.

The position is responsible for ensuring that the systems that support the delivery of programs are well designed and performed as expected; they monitor and ensure the organisations’ policies and procedures are implemented; support the staff and volunteers working in the programs; drive continuous improvements and advise, support and inform the General Manager.

  • Participate in MCCI and community events, which may occasionally involve working after hours and on weekends.

About the role:

We are seeking a support worker who is compassionate and caring in nature and committed to delivering quality care and services to people from culturally diverse backgrounds. Our aim is to match carers with clients to ensure we provide a high-quality service, connecting those who can offer support with those that need support.

Duties may include the following:

  • Domestic assistance (light house duties – vacuuming, dusting, mopping).

About you:

About You

  • Preferred experience in providing quality care in the community and assisting people to live as independently as possible.

  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability, Individual Support, Community Services or Community Welfare or willingness to obtain.
