The Company 

MCCI has been supporting multicultural communities for over 45 years.  Due to continued growth and expansion in the Illawarra and ACT, this is a newly created senior leadership role, reporting directly to the CEO.

About the Role

The role is responsible for the strategic and operational delivery of MCCI’s People & Culture plan, providing effective leadership on all things HR, culture and talent development. 

The People & Culture Manager will develop strategies and operational procedures to ensure the highest people practices standards are maintained.  This diverse and varied position will see you being a proactive leader in organisational development, workforce planning, learning & development, organisation culture, diversity & inclusion and the ongoing engagement and wellbeing of our fabulous staff & volunteers. 

The role is best suited to an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and can deal with different kinds of people and challenges with professionalism, compassion and discretion.

About You

Tertiary qualified, you will have previous people and culture leadership experience and accustomed to operating in a fast paced, growing business. Your pragmatic ‘hands on’ approach to the implementation of the people strategy will ensure measurable outcomes for the business, as will your strong understanding of people and organisational development.

Your strong work ethic and collaborative style will lend itself well to the internal culture, and prior experience working in the non-profit sector is desirable.
