Aims of the Ukrainian Community Partners Programme:
- More aged care support services delivering culturally appropriate care
to older persons from the Ukrainian community;
- Older people from the Ukrainian community having increased access to
culturally appropriate age care support services;
- Older people from the Ukrainian community having greater capacity to make
informed decisions about aged care support services; and
- Formalised arrangements made that will sustain the benefits of the Project
and its strategies and continue to promote and facilitate increased access by
the Ukrainian community to aged care support services.
Programme Outputs:
Planned programme outputs are as follows:
- Development of sustainable partnerships between the elderly Ukrainian
community and aged care services;
- Identification of specific barriers to access to aged care services for older
Ukrainians
- Removal of barriers to access appropriate aged care for older Ukrainians
The Ukrainian CCP team is helping elderly Ukrainians to make informed decisions about aged care support services and supporting aged care service providers to deliver appropriate services for Ukrainians. |
