Business Development Officer

  • $60-70k plus superannuation
  • Salary sacrifice available
  • 35 hours per week (part-time negotiable)

The Opportunity

To support MCCI’s strategic growth objectives and to develop new services and business relationships, particularly in aged care services. The role supports the General Manager to implement MCCI’s strategic directions to diversify current funding sources, develop new business to business relationships with those who share our values and purpose, and grow new services for CALD communities.

About You

You will possess:

  • Proven ability to identify, source and secure new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
  • Demonstrated experience in working effectively with stakeholders, partners and businesses to secure new business leads
  • Experience in developing and implementing fundraising and sponsorship strategies
  • Exceptional communication skills, strong organisation & time management with the ability to manage several leads simultaneously
  • Knowledge and understanding of the aged care & disability sectors, including current sector reforms
  • Established networks in the aged care & disability sector, desirable but not essential
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Commitment to working with CALD communities
  • Valid police check
